Hernia,

Hernia is what i had and have to deal with for the rest of my life. I know it’s not cancer of anything close to that degree, but it’s something I have to deal with for quite some time. It’s only been 5 and half days since my surgery. I thought I’d recover in 2 weeks and 2 months at the most. After feeling depressed the whole day today I seeked reassurance from the Internet forums. After finding and reading up other people’s post hernia repair experience I started to realize how serious this situation was. I now have accepted Hernia go be a part of me and I feel better since it’s not something I want to get away from or hate. This way helps combat lack of patience. Well i definitely will turn my rigorous workout sessions to light walk around the park, stretches and yoga. It feels good that my main concerns were addressed just by hearing that other people experienced swelling and numbness around the scar. Whew! It feels so good to hear that. Right now my own time table to full 100% recovery is 8 months. YES, 8 months until I even look at a lifting room, basketball courts & anything of the same degree. It really is a change of lifestyle! In my diet and workout. It’s not going to be easy, but I’m going to do it right the first time.
